do you have any wedding toast tips for maid of honor?

July 27, 2010

My maid of honor needs a little help with her wedding toast. I’m having toast instead of speeches, so that my wedding party isn’t up talking too long. Do you have a tips for her? Thank you

Crucial – keep it short! It will make it much easier on her and the guests.

I gave an MOH toast a couple of weeks ago. I described the moment when I knew the bride and groom were right for each other. I decided to go with sweet instead of trying to crack jokes.

Practice, practice, practice. I did the toast for my boyfriend, for the other bridesmaids, and about 50 times in front of my mirror – and I was still nervous!

  2. My girl, is saying one thing, "As long as she has known us, she has seen us through our ups and downs’, and yes we have had them, but she is going to remember how we got through them, and use them in her own relationships, "because what my 2bHubby (Oct 10th 2008)and i are… best friends, and we except and respect that we are our own people, and we will have different opoinions on things, and we have learned what they are, and have learned how to except them. So NO aurgument lasts longer than, 15 min..I promise…they don’t.
She is stating the fact thet we are muture enough and have so much love for each other, that we are willing to look past the reason for the issue at hand, and try to understand the pthers point and see it for what it is,…
I am glad that some sees that it takes two to make it work….
